Happy Chinese New Year! Some people have no clue why Chinese workers have such a long holiday during this festival.
Chinese new year which we call spring festival. Maybe most of you have heard about Chinese new year which we also call spring festival. You know, we pay great attention to this festival because it stands for the reunion as well as the new start. People around the country will celebrate this festival by visiting relatives and friends and enjoying the lanterns, etc.
Now all factories in China stop producing. But after mid February, you can start arrange production again.
Actually most of the production worker in China do not have weekend holidays. Since there are a lot of production, Chinese workers just have one-day off per month. So during this festival, they spare some time to accompany their family. Besides, many workers live in other province. It takes them more than 10 hours to get home.
the other reason is the Spring Festival travel rush because a lot of people go home during this festival. It will cause the heavy traffic jam so the workers will leave in advance. That is why they have a longer holiday than office staffs.
So if you arrange production on November or December in China, you need to have a good schedule in case of the spring festival delay.
