Direct-to-garment also known as DTG is the process of printing full-color images directly onto clothing. Garments are fed directly into the printer and the inks are then printed directly onto the garments much the same as your home printer works with paper, printing onto white garments gives the best result. It can also print onto dark colors fabric, but before print we need to do pretreatment to the dark fabric to make better printing surface.

Therefore when we're printing with DTG what we're doing is sending the artwork directly from the computer to the printing machine. It's basically the exact same way you would send it at your own home office. Our master worker is adjusting the printing pattern to make sure that everything everywhere is good. The DTG machine keeps rotating in a circle, and printing finished when the clothes go through a circle.
There are 4 steps as follows: The first step is to make sure the location of each cutting pieces which is same on the machine. Starting from pre-treatment that print a transparent base. For white fabric it just need the trasparent base and you dry it by heat press, then you can print the pattern directly. For dark color fabric it may need to print another white layer. But we also print the white layer onto the orange color fabric for it doesn’t need to print that white base, a transparent base is enough. But why we do it here, because It can bring the best printing image. However it will also makes the final result feels thick, you can feel there are a ink layer on fabric. Second step is to print the pattern. Third step is to be hitted by the heat press so that it's fully dry. Last but not least is that coat it with another transparent layer to protect the pattern so you can get much more durable pattern.
